University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men’s basketball coach Will Wade has added guard Greg Pryor out of Ridgeway High School to the Mocs’ roster for the upcoming season.
Pryor, 6-1, 175, played for coach Wes Henning and will be expected by Wade to contribute as freshman this upcoming season.
“He played in a pressing system, he can guard the ball, get after it and he’s a very good 3-point shooter,” Wade said. “He will play point guard for us, but can play off the ball.”
Wade said Pryor had plans to attend Southwest Illinois College before the current UTC coaching staff offered a scholarship.
“He’s young for his grade so he’ll mature and grow here on and off the court,” Wade said. “His best basketball is ahead of him.”
