4 men charged with attempted murder after burglary, shooting in Chattanooga

Four Chattanooga men, including three minors, have been charged with attempted murder after police responded to a burglary in process Monday night.

Santos Morales told Chattanooga police he saw his friend, Petronilo Gabriel, surrounded by several men shortly before 10 p.m. at 2009 Huff Place.

When Morales confronted one of the suspects, he was shot in the side, according to a news release.

Police arrested 23-year-old Travis Maurice Martin, two 13-year-olds, and one 17-year-old. The four were also charged with Especially Aggravated Robbery.
