Every year Battlefield Elementary in Fort Oglethorpe has a Frog Auction to encourage students to read. This year the fifth graders earned more than 11,000 points, and each point is worth one Frog Dollar to use during the auction.
All the items were bought through fundraising drives throughout the year. The teacher behind this wonderful event is Pam Pierce. The parents thank her for showing our kids how much fun reading truly is these days.
