The pair wanted for the murder of a Marion County man have been caught in Georgia, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said this afternoon.

Kristin Helm said Oscar Delgado, 33, and Christina McLendon, 31, had been captured in Blackshear, Ga.

Delgado and McLendon were charged with first-degree murder after Jeffery Jonathan Mora was found severely injured at an abandoned building off U.S. Highway 41 in Marion County on Saturday.

Mora was transported to Erlanger hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Mike Taylor, 12th Judicial District attorney, said late today that TBI agents were en route to Blackshear to determine the pair's status.

"They'll take them before a judge down there to see if they're going to waive extradition," Taylor said. "If they fight it, I'll have to apply for a governor's warrant from Gov. Haslam."
