The Georgia Department of Labor and Mohawk Industries have announced they’ll hold a job fair on March 14 in Summerville, Ga., to help fill some jobs at the Mohawk plant in that community.

The job fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chattooga County Civic Center, which is at 44 Highway 48, across from the BB&T Bank.

Mohawk is seeking sorters, material handlers, utility workers, palletizer operators, lead maintenance technicians and forklift operators, a news release said.

Representatives from Mohawk will be at the fair and, the release said, those applying should bring copies of their resumes, two forms of identification and should be ready for an interview.

Those seeking a job should also be at least 18 years old and should have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma.
