John Wesley Manning, 45, of Scottsboro, Ala., has been arrested on sex abuse charges, according to a news release.
Investigators found evidence Manning had had sexual contact with a 4-year-old girl, the release from DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said.
The investigation led into Jackson and Marshall counties, and additional charges are possible, Harris said.
Manning was booked into the DeKalb County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
