ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga concluded its season with an 87-81 loss to UNC Greensboro in the first round of the Southern Conference tournament.
The Mocs (13-19) were overwhelmed by the Spartans offense in the second half after UTC owned a 43-32 lead at halftime.
UNCG guard Derrell Armstrong sparked the second-half surge and finished with 25 points.
The Mocs were led by 20 points from Zaccheus Mason and 19 from Ronrico White.
