In conjunction with Women's History Month, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is hosting the special program, "Women in War — The Roles Women Played."
Join a park ranger at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Widow Glenn house site, near Tour Stop 6 in Chickamauga Battlefield. Participants will learn more about Eliza Glenn and other stories associated with women involved with the Battle of Chickamauga.
The program will take place outdoors. Visitors are encouraged to bring folding chairs and dress appropriately for the weather.
