The Chattanooga Lookouts announced this past week that they have scheduled the baseball club's first "Fan Fest" for this Saturday at AT&T Field.

The activities-filled event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and there is no charge to attend. Single-game tickets for the 2013 season will be on sale, those who have bought season tickets can pick them up, and everyone attending will have the chance to buy an opening-day ticket for $1 or get one free by bringing a canned food item to the Lookouts' Dodger Blue antique truck parked on the outside plaza.

Fans can take a stadium tour, hit in the batting cage, have their fastball speed checked, record a home-run call in the radio booth, buy game-used memorabilia and interact with the Class AA team's mascots, among other things.

The Fan Fest also will include giveaways and face-painting, and children can take part in an art contest in which the winning piece will be included in the final edition of the 2013 Lookouts program, according to the team's release.
