Hamilton County 911 dispatchers are answering calls more quickly and effectively, emergency communication officials say.
Since all emergency call agencies consolidated in 2007, call answering times have improved by 25 percent and abandoned calls have dropped by 40 percent, according to John Stuermer, Hamilton County 911 Emergency Communications District executive director.
