TBI seeks help in identifying female homicide victim in Coffee County

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is asking the public for help to identify a female homicide victim found in Coffee County over the weekend.

On Saturday the Coffee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call that a body had been found near the Summitville Cave.

A news release said officials found the body of a while female who had been burned and was believed to have been killed with her body dumped.

The release said the victim is about four feet and eight inches to five feet and two inches tall. The weight is estimated at between 100 and 120 pounds. Officials said there were no teeth on the bottom jaw but there were a set of dentures for the top of the jaw.
