3 Chattanooga firms win small business awards

Three Hamilton County companies and a nonprofit were cited by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce today.

Headlight Renew Doctor, Hullco Exteriors and Mike Collins & Associates Inc. were named small businesses of the year.

McKamey Animal Center was picked as nonprofit of the year.

Ron Harr, the Chamber’s chief executive, said that small companies have a big impact in the region.

“It’s great to see small businesses drawing a big audience,” he said at a meeting at the convention center before a large crowd.
