The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles has appointed LaFayette native David Morrison as director of its field operations division effective March 1, a news release states.
Morrison will be responsible for the supervision of nearly 24,000 parolees statewide.
He was promoted from assistant division director, a position he had held since August 2010, the release from the board states.
