Whitfield County deputy turns self in over allegedly stealing cash

Whitfield County Sheriff’s Deputy James Robert Keown turned himself into jail Tuesday for allegedly stealing cash from an illegal alien whom he arrested during a March 3 traffic stop for DUI and pot possession.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating.
