Man who fell from Rainbow Falls on Signal Mountain identified

The man who died after falling from Rainbow Falls on Signal Mountain on Wednesday was Harvey Cagle, according to the Signal Mountain Police Department.

Cagle, 50, was walking with a friend when he fell around 4 p.m., authorities said Wednesday. He died at the scene of his injuries.

The Signal Mountain Police Department is handling the investigation and is awaiting information from the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office, according to a news release.
