Chattanooga: 18-year-old killed in shooting in 3200 block of 13th Avenue

An 18-year-old was pronounced dead after being found shot and lying in the 3200 block of 13th Avenue this morning.

The Chattanooga Police Department said at 2:52 a.m. it had responded to a shots fired complaint on 13th Avenue.

Eric Fluellen was found shot and lying in the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A news release said detectives don’t think the shooting was random, based on evidence collected and statements made by witnesses.

The release asked that anyone with information should call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
