Inmate injured after Hamilton County Public Works van crashes in creek

An inmate being transported in a Hamilton County Public Works van this afternoon was taken to the hospitals for injuries after the van ran off the road and rolled into a creek.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Aslinger Road.

The driver struck a road sign and a tree before overturning, according to a news release. The driver did not require medical treatment.
