Two wounded in Buckley Street shooting in Chattanooga

Two men were shot early Saturday morning on Buckley Street, Chattanooga police said in a news release.

Police were called at 12:27 a.m. to 2108 E. Main St., where they found Leon McClain, 22, with a gunshot wound to the hand, the release stated.

A few minutes later, officers got another call to the 1300 block of Buckley Street. They found Jermichael Brooks, 19, had been shot in the arm.

Police said Brooks and McClain were in an altercation. It wasn't clear whether they shot at each other or someone else fired at them. Neither had life-threatening injuries, the release stated.

No charges have been filed, the release stated.
