PRYORSBURG, Ky. - Authorities in western Kentucky say a Tennessee man vandalized a Methodist church on Easter Sunday and then flipped his truck after fleeing from deputies.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon told WPSD-TV in Paducah that 20-year-old Paul D. Morgan Jr. crashed his truck into the Pryorsburg Independent Methodist Church around 2 a.m. on Sunday after getting into a fight with his girlfriend, who attended the church.

Redmon said Morgan intentionally smashed the church's musical equipment and vandalized the pastor's office. He fled when deputies arrived and led them on a high-speed chase before flipping his truck. He was pulled from the crash by deputies and was taken to a hospital.

Redmon said Morgan will face drunken driving charges, criminal mischief, burglary and evading arrest charges.
