John Shulman

John Shulman, former head basketball coach with the UTC Mocs, has joined Access America Transport as director of sales.

"John's intensity and passion make him a perfect fit at Access America," said Jason Provonsha, who was recently promoted to senior vice president of sales at the third-party logistics provider.

Shulman's "track record as a recruiter and motivator speaks for itself; he will be an incredible asset to our corporate sales team," Provonsha said.

Access America expects total sales this year to be more than $550 million.

Shulman became the head basketball coach at UTC in 2004.

He and his wife, Amy, live with their three sons on Missionary Ridge.
