The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has increased the reward for the remaining fugitive wanted in the March 2013 cornfield killing of a Franklin County man, according to a news release.
The reward for information leading to the arrest of David Gordon Jenkins is now $2,500.
Jenkins, 46, last was known to live at 3554 Asbury Road in Manchester, Tenn. He is wanted by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the TBI on one count of first-degree murder and one count of felony murder in the beating death of Corey Nathaniel Matthews, 26.
Authorities have received a number of out-of-state tips as to Jenkins' whereabouts, but the search now is being concentrated in Tennessee and Kentucky, the release states.
Jenkins, a white male, has brown hair and eyes. He is 5'10" and weights about 185 pounds.
Anyone with information on Jenkins' whereabouts is asked to call the TBI at 1-800-824-3463.
He should be considered armed and dangerous and approached with caution.
