Folk duo Ten Bartram at Scenic City Roots tonight

Folk duo Ten Bartram will be among the four acts playing tonight, May 2, at Scenic City Roots, the monthly musical variety show at Track 29, 1400 Market St.

Also on the bill are “dirty pop/raunchy soul” band Alanna Royale, roots/blues artist David Jacobs-Strain and rockabilly/garage punk combo Dex Romweber Duo.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and music starts at 7, with Jim Lauderdale as host. The show airs live on WPLZ-FM 106.9.

Segments with each band are broadcast at 9 p.m. Thursdays on WTCI Channel 45.

The partially seated show is open to all ages, but youths 18 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
