Morristown crash kills two

Sunday, May 5, 2013

Two people were killed Sunday in a car crash after the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to slid across a raised grassy median on East Morris Boulevard in Morristown and collide with an SUV, according to police.

The wreck occurred at 12:50 p.m. just west of the intersection of Jones Franklin Road.

Police said a Nissan Sentra was headed eastbound on E. Morris Boulevard when the drive lost control upon exiting a curve in the road. The car cut across the median and into the westbound lane where it traveled sideways until a Chevrolet Envoy traveling west hit the passenger side.
