A: It is very important to make sure your child is up to date on their immunizations. Recently, there has been a rise in the incidence of pertussis, which is being linked to delayed or rejection of vaccination. Annual flu shots are recommended for anyone older than 6 months of age. Vaccines are a safe and effective way to reduce the risk of diseases in children.
