Keller Williams agents lend hand

Keller Williams agents in Chattanooga will be spending today working at the Chambliss Center for Children, which cares for more than 700 children a day. The local Realtors are participating in a nationwide "Red Day" by Keller Williams agents who are volunteering their time for charitable groups across the United States.

More than 100 local agents plan to complete dozens of projects at the Chambliss home, from painting classrooms to cleaning up the playgrounds and pool, and the KW Cares charity arm will present $8,000 to the center.


Krystal opens Ringgold unit

The Krystal Co. has opened a new restaurant in Ringgold, Ga., and will celebrate the new fast-food outlet with a grand opening ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday.

Ten percent of the proceeds from the newest Krystal on Friday will go to Ringgold High School, which suffered damage after the devastating 2011 tornadoes hit Ringgold.


Wrigley halts caffeinated gum

Wrigley says it is taking a new caffeinated gum off the market temporarily as the Food and Drug Administration investigates the safety of added caffeine.

The company said Wednesday it has stopped new sales and marketing of Alert Energy Caffeine Gum "out of respect" for the agency.
