Today is deadline for Rotary barbecue orders

Today is the deadline to place an order for one of the smoked Boston butts being sold by the Chattanooga Breakfast Rotary Club.

“I Smell Smoke” is an annual fundraiser by the Rotarians to help support four neighborhood public elementary schools, international projects in Haiti and Uganda, as well as Rotary’s mission of eradicating polio.

Club members will smoke more than 125 Boston butts overnight on May 17 in the parking lot of Rivermont Presbyterian Church on Hixson Pike. Distribution will be May 18 between 8 and 10 a.m.

The smoked butts are $30. Pre-orders are required. Order from a Rotary member or online at ismellsmokebbq.com or rotaryofchattanoogabreakfast.com. A $1 surcharge will be applied to online orders.
