The driver of the white van involved in a head-on crash in the 2900 block of Rossville Boulevard Saturday night has been identified as Christopher Hinnard. He is 34 and is listed in critical condition at Erlanger Hospital.
The driver of the black van also in the crash has been identified as Allen Phillips, 45 years-old. Phillips was pronounced dead on the scene last night.
Charles Blakemore and Scott Summey of Summey's Towing drove north together on Rossville Boulevard around 7 p.m. Blakemore, 38, said the two were about a block behind the white van when the van's driver turned left.
He said the van never slowed down: "There was nowhere to turn."
