Jericho Brass in concert Sunday at St. Marks

The Jericho Brass will perform at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 701 Mississippi Ave., North Chattanooga, at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19. The concert will include a mix of genres: marches, solos, sacred and major program compositions.

The band, under the direction of Frank Hale, is made up of 34 professional and college trained musicians from the greater Chattanooga area, as well as Cleveland, Tenn., and Dalton and Rome, Ga.

The two soloists for the evening are Candice Kortyka of Chattanooga, performing the cornet solo "Intermezzo" by Mascagni, and Jerry Pollard, from Rome on cornet, performing Hummel's "Trumpet Concerto in Eb Major."

Admission is free.
