Market Street closing for police memorial

Market Street in downtown Chattanooga will be closed between Fifth and Eighth streets Thursday evening for the annual Chattanooga Area Law Enforcement Memorial Service.

The street will be closed from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a news release.

The memorial service is open to the public and all are invited to stop and pay respects.
