Chattanooga Lookouts erupt in 10th for 8-2 win

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Chattanooga and Pensacola needed extra innings for a third straight night, with the Lookouts prevailing 8-2 with a big 10th-inning eruption after coming up short the previous two games.

Blake Smith's home run to left field scored Miguel Rojas and Joc Pederson to ignite the six-run 10th and propel Chattanooga to a 16-24 record. Chris Jacobs added to the late outburst with a two-run homer to left.

The Lookouts trailed 2-1 in the seventh when Rafael Ynoa tripled to left to score Jacobs.

Game one of a five-game home series against the Tennessee Smokies at AT&T Field is tonight at 7:15. Zach Lee (3-2, 2.61 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Kyle Hendricks (2-2, 2.63) scheduled for the Smokies.
