The Tennessee Education Lottery Corp. has reported that the winner of $1 million in Saturday's record Powerball drawing bought their ticket at the Tobacco & Beer Mart at 6025 E. Brainerd Road.
The lottery corporation said the retailer here in Chattanooga will receive $5,000, and noted that the winner has yet to appear to claim the $1 million prize.
The overall winning ticket matching all six numbers in the Powerball drawing was sold at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, Fla. The prize for that ticket is an estimated $590.5 million.
