Parking will be free in downtown Chattanooga on Memorial Day

Downtown Chattanooga parking meters will not be enforced and need not be paid on Memorial Day, the Chattanooga Parking Authority said in a news release.

Paid parking for street meters will also be suspended for Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
