Ivan Parker headlines Dunlap benefit

Gospel singer Ivan Parker, a Gaither Homecoming regular, will headline a concert at 7 p.m. CDT Friday, May 24, at Sequatchie County High School, 7067 State Route 28 Bypass, Dunlap, Tenn.

Parker traveled with the Gold City quartet for more than a decade before embarking on a solo career in 1994.

His hits include “It’s True,” “I Choose” and “Midnight Cry.” Also appearing are local acts Ken Hicks & Testimony and Jim Ricketts & Crystle Elam.

Tickets are $10. Proceeds will go to the Rick & Lois Smith Food Bank at Lee Station Baptist Church, a 60-member congregation that feeds 30 to 40 families each week.
