A police chase that began in Dade County ends in Dayton Thursday evening.

Dade County Sheriff Ray Cross tells Channel 3, inmate Walter Glenn was working at the county transfer station, when he allegedly stole a county vehicle and took off.

Cross says Glenn made it to Dayton, Tennessee where he hit an officer's patrol car before he was caught.
