The Georgia Department of Labor has said its LaFayette Career Center plans to assist a staffing company, Express Employment Professionals, fill manufacturing jobs in Dade, Walker, and Catoosa counties.
The recruitment will be held June 6 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the LaFayette Housing Authority, 300 South Oak St.
The company will seeking forklift, heatset, machine and twister operators, along with assemblers, creelers, fixers, painters and welders.
GDOL said applicants, who must be at least 18 years old, should bring a resume and be ready for an interview and to fill out company applications.
GDOL also said most of the jobs call for a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED). Six months of manufacturer experience is a plus, it was stated.
