CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. - Officers are thanking a woman for taking action when a robber tried to snatch lottery tickets from a Catoosa County gas station. The store clerk was able to stop the robber with quick thinking, and a hard jab. And even at 9 months pregnant, all the action did not seem to phase her.
We are protecting her identity, but had to share her story.
Sunday at a Catoosa County convenience store, the would-be robber walked in and asked the clerk for five $20 lottery tickets. "And when I looked down, he snatched them out of my hand," she said. "And I proceeded to hit him and knock him on the floor."
