Admission to the monthly Bluegrass Jamboree at the Harrison Ruritan Club is normally free, though donations are appreciated, but November will be different.

Club members are charging $5 to raise money for the Bud Knowles Memorial Scholarship Fund. Knowles, who died in April 2010, was administrator of elections for the Hamilton County Election Commission and an active Ruritan member. The scholarships will be bestowed on one to three Central High School seniors before graduation next year. Knowles' wife, Barbara, is the current Harrison Ruritan Club president.

Scheduled to perform are the Itis Brothers at 6 p.m., McGill & Company at 6:50 p.m., The Grass Harpers at 7:40 p.m. and Curtis Hicks & The Old Tyme Strings at 8:30 p.m. The club is at 5709 Tyner Lane. Concessions will be available for purchase. For more, call Julianne Joel at 423-344-7848 or visit http://harrisonruritanclub.webs.com.
