Kaylon Bailey sits in Judge Rebecca Stern's courtroom Tuesday during jury selection for his second murder trial. The first trial ended in a mistrial when a juror did prohibited online research.

After five hours deliberation a jury has found Kaylon Bailey guilty in January 2012 the murder of Kima Evans.

Bailey was found guilty of first-degree murder. That verdict means an automatic life sentence of 51 years for the 36-year-old man.

Prosecutors used a 911 call recording in which Evans says the name Kaylon before lapsing into a coma and later dying. The trial began Tuesday with a sequestered jury after the June trial was declared a mistrial because a juror admitted to researching Bailey's criminal history online. Bailey has previous federal drug convictions.
