The Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department has announced it will close a small section of the Tennessee Riverpark on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The closing will allow for access to the power lines to complete some electrical repairs.

The area to be closed is between light poles 34 and 39 near BASF.
