Two first-time opponents will be at Maclellan Gym tonight for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team.

The Mocs face NAIA member Life University and NCAA Division II member Shorter at 5:30 and 7. The meets will follow the UTC volleyball team's regular-season finale against Furman. There is no admission charge for any of the events.

UTC's wrestlers are 2-3 following last week's Hokie Duals at Virginia Tech. They're 1-1 at home.

Sophomore John Lampe, who has been out of the lineup with an injury, is scheduled to make his 2013-14 debut at 184 pounds.

Five matches into the season, the Mocs are down to just one undefeated wrestler, that being 165-pound Corey Mock. The University of North Carolina transfer is seventh in the latest Amateur Wrestling News ranking and eighth in the Intermat ratings. He was named Southern Conference wrestler of the week for last week.

UTC's other ranked wrestler is 133-pound Nick Soto (18th/AWN). The junior rebounded from two home losses on opening night with three Hokie Duals victories.
