Re: Supplement to Sunday's paper 11/10/13. Who wrote this supplement on health care reform? I could not believe what I was reading. The propaganda in favor of Obamacare was so lopsided, one would have to be completely stupid to believe what they were reading. Again, the letters to the editor can only be 200 words, so I cannot say all the false statements that were made. Like "you can keep your doctor if you want and insurance policies will be more affordable." Are you kidding me! And by the way, who wrote this advertising supplement? Nowhere does it say where all this information came from. It looks like more liberal lies to me.

In 2011, 13 percent of our babies born in Tennessee were premature, which ranked us the 13th state with the most preterm babies in the United States. The main risks facing children born premature are cardiovascular problems, lung cancer, asthma, cerebral palsy and educational problems. As parents, we should become aware of all the issues we might have with a premature baby. Another factor that needs to be known is that your child might be at risk of rejecting insulin if they get diabetes. We should also know that our past will sometimes affect our child's future, meaning if you have had abortions and miscarriages, be advised that a child you plan on conceiving might be born premature and/or might have health issues. These children are our future leaders, and if we as a community can prevent and help with what can happen to them, we should. So get educated on all the risks and health issues that you might face having a child born prematurely.
