The Chattanooga Parking Authority has announced free meter parking downtown on Thanksgiving Day and then on the following Friday.
Additionally, paid parking for street meters will also be suspended for Christmas Day, a news release said.
The authority said it will not sell bus passes at its office on Nov. 28, Nov. 29 and Dec. 25.
