CHURCH HILL, Tenn. - A Church Hill man told police this week that his name was "Don Juan" and he was pretending to be a chicken in the yard of a total stranger to scare away the "imaginary people."

Daniel Craig Peoples, 48, of 230 Silver Lake Road, also allegedly admitted to police that he'd been using bath salts that day, he thought he was in Lexington, Ky., and he needed a ride home to Hawkins County.

Around 5 p.m. on Monday, the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to an address on Fields Gap Road in Church Hill on a complaint by the 82-year-old property owner that a strange man was wandering around the property.
