Belvoir Christian Academy students help Trinity Hope help Haitians.

It's easy to tell children about the blessings they have living in the United States, but when they are shown the differences between their daily living environment and that of a child from a developing country, their appreciation for their own blessings and the desire to reach out to those less fortunate grows.

To instill a sense of altruism, Belvoir Christian Academy students focus their chapel offerings on a designated charity each month throughout the school year. One organization that makes an impression on the students is Trinity Hope, a mission dedicated to providing nutritious meals, mostly comprised of rice and beans, to Haitian children.

BCA is proud of the heart that its students have for children in Haiti and also happy to have the opportunity to have contributed $500 from recent chapel offerings to go to Trinity Hope. In 2012, school families and staff donated over $2,000 to the charity.
