UPDATED:

Springfield Police are leveling more charges against Robert Hamill, the suspect in the Wednesday Oakland Farms double shooting.

Hamill will be charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder, according to Springfield Police Lt. Jimmy Grogan.

He already faces domestic aggravated assault, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon in connection with the case.

Grogan said Hamill used a judge to shoot the victims. A judge is a revolver that can shoot shotshells, a low-gauge variant of a shotgun shell.

It is unclear how many times Hamill shot at the victims. But, each victim was shot at least two times, Grogan said.
