River Gallery, 400 E. Second St., will present "Narrative Gestures," featuring works by painter Cynthia Tollefsrud and sculptor Kirsten Stingle, as its October exhibit. The opening reception is scheduled 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, and Stingle will offer insight into her work (example at right) and creative process from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.
