The Meigs County Sheriff's Office will host a day for the victims of recent property thefts to reclaim their stolen goods, according to a news release.

Property can be reclaimed on Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. at the Meigs County Sheriff's Office, 410 River Road in Decatur, Tenn.

Victims should come only if they have a police report from the jurisdiction in which their property was stolen. If you do not have a report with you, you will not be able to claim any property.

Authorities also request that victims bring any and all documentation (owner's manuals, serial numbers, pictures, etc.) that positively identify the property as yours and be prepared to describe it.

If you are unable to attend Wednesday or have any questions, call the Meigs County Sheriff's Office at 423-334-5268.
