Award-winning Spanish architect to speak at UT

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ± Spanish architect Inaqui Carnicero will be lecturing at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville on Friday.

His appearance is part of a special lecture series that starts at 5:30 p.m. EDT in the campus' McCarty Auditorium of the Art and Architecture Building. He will be discussing the relationship between architecture and economics.

Carnicero has won numerous awards, including the 2009 Rome Prize, the 2011 Emerging Architecture Award Architectural Review and the 2012 Design Vanguard Award from Architectural Record.

The event is free to the public.
