MARIETTA, Ga. - Cobb County police have charged a man with fatally shooting his wife of 30 years.
Authorities said 66-year-old Lynn York was found dead inside her home Sunday morning. WSB-TV reports that her husband, David, has been charged with murder.
Police said in a statement that officers were summoned to the Marietta home by a 911 caller who reported that his wife had been shot.
David York was charged with murder and aggravated assault. He was being held without bond at the Cobb County jail.
It was not immediately clear today if York had an attorney.
