Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking into the death of a 2-year-old child in Hixson.
Deputies responded to Wyndsor Drive this afternoon to investigate, spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said.
Sources at the sheriff's office said it appears the child got tangled in drapery cords and was strangled.
The case remains under investigation.
A medical examiner's report is still pending.
